In one of my sociology classes I thought I’d be contemporary and write a thesis on porn and how it affects the male psyche and correlates to their sexual prowess… long story short, I was very depressed for a long while afterward, discovering that porn teaches men sexuality akin to the George Lucas writ of romance. Guys; the more porn you watch the lesser your intimate imagination / creativity and less you will be able to actually make love. If all you want to do is fuck, then well, maybe there could be some benefit, if you are willing to sacrifice your love making ability. Fucking Vs Making Love …them girls who chose Fucking are usually more interested in your wallet.

I like how everyone is accepting this very old chart made from humorous opinion as fact. The friend line will only go up for males between the ages of 13-19.
I think those that don’t have girlfriends and watch porn stand out more than those that have/do both in our collective unconsciousness. Every guy I knew in college with a very large and boastful porn collection had a girlfriend.
The forearm strength one is just silly. Maybe a slight increase in twitch muscles, but that’s about it.
I know I’m being super cereal today, but I’m stuck in this mode. I’m hungover and surrounded by idiots arguing whether Smurfs are mammals.
@Paul_Is_Drunk: A little of both. Thesis was the wrong term though, it was just a research paper of sorts, and I got a lousy mark on it. I also failed that class. It was a dumb paper in retrospect, plus I didn’t want to do the Mallrats thing and get the sort of data necessary through first hand experimentation, so all my data was acquired through survey, which is hardly a reliable source of info about anything, let alone ego-connected topics. My results had nothing much to do with this picture, just that I found the more porn guys watched, the more they spoke and described sex in crude porno terms that displayed a great deal of ignorance. “Fuckin, bitches love it when I drop the bomb, rite? You know, yer a chick.” Guh. My demographic was pretty narrow in age and location though.

Porn is something you used to do, but got bored of it or grew up, or hopefully both!
