   so cool… reminds me of some heavy mushroom trips when my color perception starts to, uh, ‘cycle’ through the spectrum and I try to focus on it to make it stop but that just accelerates it and I close my eyes and fall into an internal abyss of spinning warping patterns folding in upon themselves and it goes faster and faster and I can’t escape the monolith to save myself from the overwhelming primal draw of infinity and my consciousness feels like it’s going to consume itself but I’m so close to unlocking, something, so terribly terrifyingly profound I can’t stop and all I can hear is the thunder of my own heartbeat pounding like a devil drum through the cosmos and I’m so close yet my awareness is screaming danger and hell and death into every cell but I am so close and I gnow that if I just let go, if I just release my heartbeat I can break through the veil but I get scared and I open my eyes and I am in a fire lit basement surrounded by my girlfriends looking at me all worried but spacey and slowly I hear the music again and smell the incense and feel the warm humid air and then I laugh and they laugh and we all laugh until it hurts and they fall asleep and I gaze at the statue of Isis in the corner feeling each breath like it’s my last…

   I like fractals.

   @sylvanish:I didn’t see color so much as geometric shapes. They were flying around too. Freaky. Somehow I managed to be coherent enough to function but I sure as hell don’t know how.
   This sort of high is the kind hubby likes. I have a bit more of a problem w/ lack of control, well a lot of a problem. :<)I was more into valium and ludes (lemon 714). Hi kids, can you say Quaalude?

   It’s not very often with mushrooms that I really trip out like that particular event, usually I just feel like my body is made of mushroom and someone is messing with the tint and contrast settings of the world, while my brain is just stretchy and silly. Nowadays I just eat mushrooms when I’m going to the movies or sometimes when camping. I’m gonna try smoking Salvia next time I’m on mushrooms
