I don’t remember them melting.
Funny seeing this now, as I bought my SW Trilogy DVD set on Saturday, it features both the original theatrical releases as well as the 1997 special editions. Each disc features classic artwork that went along with their movies both on the original VHS releases and posters from 30 years ago.
I contemplated buying the EP I,II,III Trilogy but put it back down in less than 5 seconds.
