It’s a bit like the whole thing about “African-Americans” which seems to be an American language label for anyone who’s black or mixed race. I will completely admit I don’t get it (not being American myself) why you don’t just refer to people by what they are. For example we don’t call black folks “African-English” as there’s no reason to suppose they all originate from Africa.

Just saying. And before anyone calls the racist card here or starts this into an argument, this is just my observation on the need to give politically correct labels to people who really don’t need them and no offence is intended.
