He reminds me kind of David Bowie in this. Bowie would make a much better Riddler though.

small detail called self-respect must’ve gotten in the way, eh?

Say what
November 9, 2008 at 1:25 pm
I mean Val Kilmer as batman? That guy has always had an “I am a douchebag” face/attitude in everything I see him in.
I’m sad Jim Carey’s reputation was stained with a movie like this (and a couple others[dot][dot][dot] )
November 9, 2008 at 1:50 pm
Both of those two batman movies were horrible. Turned Gotham into fucking Disney World and made great villains into giggling idiots…

@dieAntagonista: Tim Burton wanted David Bowie to play the Joker.
Man that would have been so much better.
November 9, 2008 at 4:00 pm
No way. I didn’t know that. I was gonna say that I could imagine him playing a magnificent Joker. But I assumed everybody would jump at me and say that Heath was the ultimate Joker.
November 9, 2008 at 5:37 pm
@dieAntagonista:
I swear someone told me that Heath looked at Bowie for some inspiration for the part.
November 9, 2008 at 7:52 pm
@dieAntagonista: I wouldn’t say that Heath was the ultimate Joker, but if you think Jim Carrey would make a good Joker, you’ve been dropped on your head too many times. He’s about as much “Joker” ans Ahnold was “Mr. Freeze”…

@RSIxidor: Whoa, for real? I’m a Bowie fan, so it really pleases me to hear this.
@Tyger42: Well see, I didn’t say Jim Carrey would make a good any thing. I said David Bowie would make probably an excellent Joker?
And yeah, Arnold was traumatizing in that movie.

@mintymadness:
Are you serious? Val Kilmer has a douchebag face/attitude? Go watch Heat, Ghost and the Darkness, and the Saint, and especially him as Doc Holliday in Tombstone. Then reconsider.
November 10, 2008 at 11:23 pm
At least now we don’t have to have that discussion of Kilmer’s face, just his voice of KITT in that new Knight Rider, which is just…God awful…I mean, they even mentioned KARR as a mech type thing…. Excuse me while I look for a Trans Am with T-Tops.

One of the worst Batmans. And absolutely the worst Riddler EVAR portrayed.
