Cyclists are often banned by law from riding on the sidewalk. What I don’t understand is pedestrians walking in the street when there is a perfectly good empty sidewalk right next to them. I almost hit one of these last night. He was wearing dark clothing also, presumably to add a little extra frisson to the experience or something.

That’s an interesting way of doing it, usually a double bike is two frames welded on top of each other.
