More details: first picture is 1908 flood in moscow, second is panoramic of the square without water. 3rd is obviously modern day russia.

Funny, I’ve never actually seen these awful playgrounds in person. Moscow ones must’ve been updated.
It’s sad that I can’t read what that sign says (because I’m too lazy to look it up). A painting something or other. Considering that was the time when stupid, awkward, foreign words were all the rage, I’m not surprised.
