    @Dreth: I’d imagine that’s a drain port so the puss and infected juices can drain and the area can properly heal. I’ve had one in my back before. not fun to have, which is why there’s a cone around the poor guy’s head. I didn’t have the cone though. I had tape, lots and lots of tape.
