No bonus points for me, it’s yet another cat. We paid for him with the money I was saving for an Xbox360, so we named him “Xbox”.

@monkeybird02: I paid nearly 200 bucks for the two that I have, money went to the local humane society.

My puppy was “free.”
Meaning… Cost to take her to the vet, get her checked, get her dewormed (round worms), and in 3 more months, get her spayed.
Yeah… “Free.”

Hubby and I went to Myrtle Beach for Bike Week in 2006 and the condo we stayed in only had basic cable. We discovered Animal Planet’s Animal Cops series and now donate monthly to the local Humane Society.

We adopted him from PetSave, at the local PetSmart store. He cost $160. It seems high, but it included his kitten shots and a certificate to have him neutered for free. Neutering costs around $220 here, so it was a deal.
