You know it does sort of look like curtains. They don’t really match the outside bricks…notice the darker line on the curtains, you don’t see that anywhere outside. This could also easily be shopped or painted cardboard. And the first thing that comes to everyone’s mind is that it is actually brick, but that could be because they added a wall and said “fuck it, why take the window out?”

I doubt they’re curtains. The pattern is too irregular to be curtains. Unless it was custom made. But curtains also don’t usually hang flat like that either. Not to mention it matches the external brick pattern a little too well.

I’d more inclined to think it’s a shoop…

@...casemods: Good point, getting curtains to look like brickwork would be difficult. The solution is clearly to paint the outside wall to look like curtains.

@...casemods: LOL OK, I suppose I must admit my OCD kicked in back there, but if you look closely at the pattern of the bricks on the around the window, you’ll find that this is not a regular pattern that uses alternating half brick offsets.

You have a set of three layers of bricks set longitudinally, along the wall, separated by a single layer of two bricks set transversely across the wall.

Also, rather interestingly, each 3×1 longitudinal and 2×1 transverse set shares the same edge as the set above it, making a single mortar line from top to bottom.

Anyway, the point is, it is an unusual brick pattern, and I think it is unlikely to have been mass produced in curtain print.

Also, printed brick patterns tend to be *more* regular than their IRL counterparts, not less, so having those non-repeating darker and broken bricks in the middle and left side of a “curtain” print doesn’t seem likely…
