This looks like that one shed in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. where you find some dying guy. Right after that, you’re mobbed by a dozen mutant dogs and die. So yes, peaceful.
Gah. These are great, but are never big enough to be a wallpaper.
No they’re big enough, it’s that not everyone has the money to waste on big monitors. Nor bitch about resolutions.
@Dreth
Sorry, did I push a button complaining about my $200 Monitor? My bad.
@Dreth: LCD widescreen monitors are so cheap these days, who doesn’t have one yet? And it’s almost impossible to find a brand new CRT anywhere.
I’m talking about size. Mine’s a modest… erm, something close to 19 or 17. I use 1024×768, so this wallpaper’s fine for me.
I understand not wanting to stretch the crap out of images, but some resolutions are plainly ridiculous even by today’s standards.
I have 3 adjacent 22″ Widescreen Monitors,
Resolution of 5050×1080.
Try finding wallpaper for that.
What beautiful irony that a picture titled “A Peaceful Place” is inspiring such rage.
What’s wrong with someone using a higher resolution? Is it elitist?
Damn, 3 22″s? I am envious. What do you need 5000 horizontal pixels for?
Without googling it who else here knows who Thoreau is?
@mAgnUS BUTTfoorson: lol, we’ll see.
@Paul_Is_Drunk: These wallpapers are good for laptops.
@nyokki: Good for a laptop? What kind of laptop do YOU run? My laptop has a res of 1280×800.
@Mythstae: Actually, I didn’t tag this one as wallpaper. The reference comes from several of my pics not being suitable for monitors that are larger than 1280×1024.
What can I say? I knew I’d have to disappoint sooner or later.
p
*monitors w/ a resolution larger than 1280×1024.
Thoreau is my hero. One of them anyways. And I do certainly believe he would approve.
All I wanna know is how much they want for it. And whether it has internet access…
