Tasmanian Devil

“Yulgilbar is the first devil pup born at the sanctuary since 1995. ”

There is much more cuteness to be found here.

    1. Isn’t he suppose to be all spinning around and eating all kinds of shit, or did Warner Brothers lie to me again?

    2. I feel bad for those fuckers, they’re dying from a weird ass cancer-like disease that is contagious, and they’re going extinct. =(

    5. There is an effort underway to save the species; the local sanctuary here in victoria is involved:

They’re savage little beasts; won’t be long before that pristine baby face is scarred and its ears all tore up from fighting (and the noises they make, bloodcurdling!).

    10. No they aren’t cute at all, Nyoki. They’re mauled, small-eyed, vicious, carrion-feeding, stumpy, oddly-truncated, half-hopalong things.

      Cool, tho’ =)

The baby shot’s cute, misleading (and the lighting), all the same.

    11. @Brevity Truta: It would be interesting to see what Disney would do w/ one in a story line.

      Found a more realistic shot.

Mmm … Nyoki, lol, I think we can imagine, and it’s a good thing they haven’t.

    15. @nyokki: Thanks! You usually get all the good posts in, I’m glad you didn’t beat me to it. 🙂

I think these crazy violent creatures are cute, even when all tore up. But uhm… I’m funny like that.

    16. lol Nyoki. I don’t think fire does kill them, though .. :p

They are cute, outofocus, just not fluffy-cute.

    17. @Brevity Truta: Very true. I am not a big fan of fluffy cute. Fluffy cute gives me drop kicking urges.

    18. Awwww, outofocus, maybe you just need to find the right pair of fluffy slippers? But yes, there’s a depth to the cuteness of a bat, a tarantula, or a gila monster for example, that’s very cool.

It’s funny that humans relate more to fluffy babies of other species than scaly, bald, or spiky ones, when our own very young babies are not exactly fluffy cute.
