There is unrest in the kitchen,
There is trouble with the teas,
For the peppermint want more sunlight
And the green ignore their pleas.

Oops, ‘sunlight’ should have been replaced by ‘storage’.
Not enough coffee yet today, I’m sloppy.

“kitchen unrest” makes it sound like there was an armed rebellion happening by the condiments.
October 9, 2008 at 4:35 pm
There was. The peppermint tea bags brought tales of a better, brighter life on the other side to the oppressed, downtrodden green tea citizens. At which point a coup was staged, with the peppermints at its head, and the green tea bags seized the adjacent containers. Currently, they are taking heavy casualties in their bid to captures the territories of the breadbin, their sugar-based economy is collapsing around their ears, and disease and poverty have cut the green tea population in half over the past 6 months.
Their peppermint leaders blame the French.
