The original idea behind the Predator movies was that Rocky fights an alien. True story. Look it up.

nice, but as Phyreblade said – the current Predator is on a whole new level of awesome. And he has a spear.
In one of the Predator comics I read as a kid there was a sketch of this and the legs were bent backwards. Apparently they couldn’t get it to move and appear the way they wanted it to with a guy in a suit. The mechanics and porportions were off. This could have been from the same volume or another expanding on the concept [of this pred design].
