The same source said he had contracted HIV from a blood transfusion received during a heart bypass operation in December 1983. How you die doesn’t diminish what you accomplished in your life.

We all die of something. For him, his CD4+ count crashed. Yours will be because your p53 gene has mutated, or something similarly biologic. Who cares?

The best damn science, history and sci-fi author ever and so who cares he died of AIDS, so did Ryan White. Caio, ever the 4 year old, is just trying to get attention again.

hehehe what was I trying to imply.
I agree he was a good guy and a great writer but he died of aids.
