No it doesn’t.
You know, the fact this looked so awesome yet so bad it’s because it’s FUCKING FAITHFUL to the games. You fanboys whine about changed storylines, non-canon crap and altered personalities.
Yet this fake trailer embodied all that is a true-to-life video game movie conversion.
So you either embrace it for being so awesome, or diss it for being so cheesy and faithful that it looks too much like the real game.
BTW, I hate Zelda and I enjoyed this prank very much.
Seriously was the most well done April Fools’ joke I’ve seen in several years. And I’m usually not a fan of April Fools’ jokes.
Just one problem with that assessment. Look up Legend of Zelda on IMDB. You will pull up a movie titled The Beautiful and the Damned. Before the movie got locked to IMBDPro only, it had a link to a trailer. The trailer is what everyone thinks is a April Fools joke.
