Whenever I see that logo I can’t help but think of frozen delicious french fries.

    2. Puulaahi (UID#4552)

I think of Goose. Maverick killed him.

    3. diabeetus (UID#1628)

      HAHAHAHA OH WOW

    4. diabeetus (UID#1628)

Oh and a little historical note.

In 1908, it was William Howard Taft (Republican) versus William Jennings Bryans. Bryans was noted by historians as a great orator with a deep and commanding voice and little experience, much like Obama.

And for Taft, he undercut Bryan’s liberal support by accepting some of his reformist ideas, and Roosevelt’s progressive policies blurred the distinctions between the parties. Just like McCain.

Guess who ended up winning the general election?

    5. phil (UID#241)

The racist white eugenicist lost, if that’s what you’re getting at.

    6. Marrock (UID#3993)

      Vote Teddy Roosevelt in 2008!

    7. Marrock (UID#3993)

By the way, didn’t Taft once get himself stuck in a bathtub while in the white house because he was a big fat tub of goo?

    8. Nimbo (UID#2449)

Taft never got stuck in the tub. The fat bastard needed a winch to make it into the tub.

Teddy was great primarily for one thing, the Parks Department, I can forgive the rubbing salt into the Indians wounds and his on again-off again relationship with the monopolies.

Though in light of the current lack of diversity in the financial markets leading to 700 Billion shenanigans, Teddy does go down a few pegs

    9. AlecDalek (UID#380)

diabeetus fails yet again. That’s quite the reach. Sounds like someone is having a hard time coming to terms with the impending election of a black guy.
