It had its fair run. Went there in 2005, it was a bit depressing.

The only part of Coney Island NY that is closing is Astroland. The Cyclone pictured above will open April 6th for 2009 Season. The Wonder Wheel will also start operating on April 6th. Deno’s is another amusement park in Coney Island that will continue to operate along with the boardwalk shops – bar & Grills etc.

This sucks. I met the love of my life at Coney Island…As long as the Wonder Wheel and the Cyclone are staying open, though, I’ll be happy. Sentimental value.
