Although the fate of tonight’s presidential debate in Mississippi remains very much up in the air, John McCain has apparently already won it — if you believe an Internet ad an astute reader spotted next to this piece in the online edition of the Wall Street Journal this morning.
“McCain Wins Debate!” declares the ad which features a headshot of a smiling McCain with an American flag background. Another ad spotted by our eagle-eyed observer featured a quote from McCain campaign manager Rick Davis declaring: “McCain won the debate– hands down.”
Wow, American Media really is omniscient! I won’t even question their sources, for that might require sentient thought!

They’re trying to get us to think the debate already happened so that we won’t watch it.
I was under the impression that it was impossible to win a debate without a large gun.

I think his campaign just totally imploded since Wednesday. It’s bad when the senators that are putting the bail-out plan together tell you go home, you’re not needed here. I’m curious what McCain supporters think.
