    Fifth movie, bad.
    Sixth movie, bad.
    Seventh movie, didn’t watch.

    Back in 1990…some strange dude brought over the rented tape of #2 to our pad.

    None of use liked Horror.
    We were amazed.

    Hellbound: Hellraiser II was different to say the least.

    Hellraiser II was amazing.

    There’s a small coterie of film series who’s second offering was by far the best in the franchise.

    Hellraiser II
    Aliens
    The Empire Strikes Back
    Evil Dead II
    Superman II

    These films stand as some of the best of their genres.

    You forgot the all time best: Godfather part II

    Also in consideration are many comic book films (Dark Knight, Spiderman 2, X-men 2).

    …yeah, anyway… Hellraiser 2 was amazing.

    Another great example. It’s a good sign that there are more and more good sequels, aren’t there?

    Too bad there hasn’t been a 3rd sequel best-of yet, is there? Or am I forgetting something?

    Revenge of the Sith maybe? If you can call that a 3rd sequel.

    Besides I don’t think that Godfather 2 and Aliens were MUCH better than their already brilliant prequels
