@kuTTer: Things are changing man. Geek is cool now. We’re taking over. Look at hollywood. How many fantasy ,sci fi, or superhero movies with epic budgets are being released each year compared to other genres. Compared to 10 years ago even.
And now Video Games are starting to outsell movies. Its a brave new world friends, and the geeks are leading the charge! EXCELSIOR!

Obsessed might be a misleading word, though it’s often true. Any of the following may border on obsession: if you can quote lines from movies(Monty Python?), hold your own in Sci Fi Trivia, have a collection of video games or movies numbering in the hundreds, if your friends ask you for actors names from certain films, or if you have ever donated technical assistance to family members regarding either computers or entertainment systems. If any of these facts are true, then you are at least moderately obsessive.
Its just a damn interesting obsession, thats all.

Geek. Total pure geek. (I’m crazy enough that people love me, if only because I keep them entertained)
Thanks for clearing this up. I always wondered, although this more or less confirmed my previous hypothesis, which is that a geek is a nerd with friends.
