That was no bug, that was a virus. And it sure as hell didn’t run Windows. It only infected .COM files.

And the year was ’90 (IIRC), we weren’t running virus protection at the time, not that it mattered, since I got Norton AV installed, and it still didn’t see it as a virus. I had the idiot^H^H^H^H^H network administrator that managed the initial infection – of the entire net) go through and fix all the servers and PCs with uninfected files.

So yes, there was a virus that had Fucking butterflys as a string in it. The only thing I’m aware that it actually did was infect all the other .COM files that it could find.
