I went to their myspace page after rebelyell2006 couldn’t identify their style…which I thought was stupid because how can you not tell the genre?
Well, I went to the page, saw “Other/Disco/Grime” and just gave up right there.
Downtuned guitars are metal. Grime is metal. Unintentional atonality/playing off key but really fast is definitely metal. Witchcraft + necrophilia + dead = put together the pieces just another artsy Metallica clone I bet the white face powder and black mascara doesn’t apply properly to their pimples and kind of gets cracked up around the red bits. *shudder*
And yes Grime is metal if it is trashy and sounds like something you wouldn’t like IRL but sounds good as a genre (Brutal Death, Thrash, Progressive Power, Doom, etc) it is metal. In this case you wouldn’t want shit under your refrigerator all over your face but for some reason if you add ‘metal’ at the end it is good and bad-assed if you’re the D&D type.
