  6. The swastika was originally a Buddhist symbol. Not a nordic symbol, I don’t think. Never heard that. In Buddhism, the swastika is a symbol of good luck. It was especially popular in a weaving design in many Japanese textiles, but not so much these days with the stigmas placed upon it from Nazi Germany.

    Before Hitler ruined this symbol, it indeed was BOTH a Nordic good luck charm, but reversed it was a hindu symbol… Ironically , if I remember correctly, it meant something like bliss or heaven.
