  1. Will make for interesting Midnight Screenings on black theaters.

  2. Hey, at least it couldn’t possibly be worse than the anime.

  3. If it turns out like Kung Fu Hustle, action + great special effects + lighthearted comedy, it might have a chance.

    But I doubt it will.

  4. Why is it with these fighting anime/game movie adaptions, they always pick actors with svelte builds to play steroid monkeys? Isn’t part of the appeal of Dragonball its overt homoerotic half-naked buff guys?

  5. well i love the anime, and i know this movie will suck, i will however still see it for the hilarity factor, and to deuce, its about goku as a kid, it follows the draginball storyline not dragonball z

  6. I bet it won’t even gross over nine thousand.

  7. At the casting call for this movie:

    “OK, now show me constipated.”
“Great, now show me REALLY constipated.”
“Excellent, looks just like Japanimation. Now leap up into the air, look constipated, and go, “Hrrrrrghghghghgghgh!’”
