Blender is an absolute pain in the ass to work in. I’ve used Lightwave 9 (my favorite), maya, and blender, and blender’s interface is absolutely my least favorite.

I love blender! So far my favorite 3D modeling program. Free and highly scriptable, with a great interface and tons of tutorials. I’m going to be learning Maya in the fall so we’ll see which one I like better then…

I actually prefer 3DS Max but blender is a great program made even better cause it’s free!

It would be best not to link to a generic page that gets updated every day, and link to the actual image page with the credits and all that.
