nice shot. i think that’s an old DC-4. i flew in a DC-3 once a long long time ago. i’ve also flown in a Constellation. it’s okay to be jealous… LOL

I’ve been up in a B-52 and a Liberator, so, definitely not jealous.

sure that’s not a C-130? the nose and tail look familiar, abeit I have not seen a Dc-4

It’s a P-3 Orion. It’s original intent is as ASW and SAR.

That is a DC3.In the 80`s a company started rebuilding them and installing fuel efficient modern turboprop engines on them.And continue to do so.That`s what your looking at.

A DC-3 has 2 engines, this one has 4.
