Blue print for a better way of life. The future as I see it: No money or poverty, and global peace. of course, even in their universe, there was a WW3.

Where the fuck is this supposed to be? Is Gene Rodenberry suggesting that they levelled two steep cliffs, moved a gigantic military graveyard and built over 500 years or more of important archaeological sites to build starfleet academy near a bridge. cf.

Facing Marin County. Those might not look big from the picture but the cliff is a mile high. I’ve walked up that road a few times it’s a cunt of a steep highway and it’s not friendly to pedestrians.

It’s a work of fiction, who the hell knows what happened to the terrain?
In “trek universe” terms…a lot can happen in 400 years. Very little is known about how WW3 played out, and it’s not like random discussions took place in the shows about terrain changes or whatever reshaped the Bay Area by the mid-24th century.

If only Gene Roddenberry had written the bible… we’d all be living long and prospering.

Nah! Rick Berman and crew would’ve fucked it up, milked it dry, and humped it powdered corpse.
