  3. Holy crap what kind of spider is that? It’s beautiful.

  4. It looks like a big plushie spider!

…Only probably with large pointy fangs.

  5. This is the natural source they found for the color of blue Smarties.

  6. Antilles pink-toe tarantula (Avicularia versicolor) is just one of 38,000 spider species currently known to science. Some tarantulas can live for decades.

Seriously cool looking tarantula. Why a1 would look at it and say “Ooh look, it has pink toes!” is beyond me.

  7. My spider-loving friend says it is a Cobalt Blue.

Your spider-loving friend??? Seriously, find new friends! You people are hypno’d by the color, probably part of its hunting ability (I MEAN IT IS BLUE FOR GOD SAKE) The only question is should I kill it with fire or airstrike.

  10. nyokki is right, its a Avicularia Versicolor

the interesting thing about them, is they arent blue, they change colours with each molt…very pretty tarantula…

and they do have cute little pink ‘toes’

  11. TAKE OFF AND NUKE IT FROM ORBIT!!! IT’S THE ONLY WAY TO BE SURE!!!
