Personally I cant tell you how many times I have put myself between civilians and the enemy or used my body as a shield to protect an Iraqi but it was never something I hesitated in doing.

In regards to high tech weapons the highest tech weapon I have ever used is my M4 which to be effective is used up close at distances less than 20 yards and most of my firefights have been at distances of 5 to 10 yards with many ending up as hand to hand. So dont preach to me about being at a nice safe distance.

Im am sorry to hear you are a diabetic but I do know for a fact that all medics carry insulin because there are a large number of diabetics in Iraq. Maybe you should seek out some medical aid.

In the end praising some dirtbag like Osama isnt going to help your situation in fact he is hoping you will join him and be mad enough about things that will gladly put on one of those nice explosive vests and end it all but hopefully you know that wont change a thing other than to end your life. Since you have not said where in Iraq you are I cant comment on your little jab about my cousins not being up to the job. But I will agree that there are areas that have proven a bit more difficult than others especially when some lame ass insurgent decides to destroy say the new electric power sub station that was just installed to help the locals and we have to go back and rebuild it.

You sound more like the handful of Iraqi’s who are upset that we are there because our presence has cut into their illegal activities. Is that it? Or are you one of those people who wants and expects someone else to fix everything for them and when someone does fix it you have to complain because you have nothing else better to do.

As far as us getting whipped you need to take another look. Progress is and has been made and in case you have missed it we are not getting whipped and in regards to getting owned by stone throwers thats a really nice fantasy you have.

If you really want to do something productive instead of taking jabs at the very people who are there to help you why dont you get off the couch and get out and help rebuild your country. Maybe with a little sweat on your part Iraq can get back to the level it was before Saddam. From what I have read and been told by some of my older family members who traveled to Iraq in the 50′s it was an absolutely great place to be. Or maybe you dont really want that.

There’s quite a wide spectrum of ideology available between “Bin Laden is a hero who gave the West a much deserved massacre” and “Freedom Flag Hail Bush America is Always right”. In fact, thats where most of us rational folk live.

Or even in blessed Canada where we profess to be so funny and easy going…just stand in a bar and say “I like America better than Canada” and watch the reactions from the so called easy going Canadians.
