  3. I hate these new advancements in dental technology. Frankly they just scare the fuck out of me.

  4. I know its a compressor stage but…not quite sure what its from. APU maybe?

  5. The shafts are WAY too large to be an APU… The compressor stage in an APU is way smaller than that.. Any Mechs in the house?

  6. this is the colonoscopy machine they used on me. i didn’t actually see it- but i’m POSITIVE this is what they used!

  7. Looks alot like a jet turbine to me, no idea if it is, but thats what it looks like to my untrained eye.

  8. Compressor or a turbine from a jet engine?

  9. Monobloc turbine rotor?
Maybe not, blades aren’t spaced as close as most turbines I’ve worked with.

    Maybe for a hydroelectric setup?

  10. Dral is right. That’s a jet turbine alrighty. Looks like they’ve just completed production of the turbine and they’re about to start it up for quality control. ( I think every turbine that is produced has to be tested )

  11. Can you test it w/out the other 1/2?

  12. jet turbine on a lathe? looks like its about to be fitted for the bearings (bf is a machinist)
