It’s cool looking – what does it commemorate?
Reminds me of the statues in Lord of the Rings. I think it was at the end of that one.
Vimy ridge helps commemorate a famous battle from world war 1 that the Canadians fought, which had a critical impact on the whole war. Its the first battle that the allied forces actually started gaining some ground. It’s also what helped define Canada as a country, separate from England.
Thought it was shopped–thought it was a particularly insensitive 9/11 memorial.
Canadians don’t fight.
