    Speaking from experience, I wouldn’t get my face that close to puss. It will do some damned amazing contortions to escape, including clawing and biting the closest thing it can get a hold of (your nose?). They also make some of the best howling noises which one should record and play back for the kiddies visiting your(darkened)house next Halloween.
