  1. Didn’t have HBO when I was a kid :(

  2. I watched this when my kid was little. I don’t know who liked it more. One of the better (much better) kid’s shows.

  3. Fun Fact: The guy who grew the radishes and owned Barkley the Dog also plays the Tourette’s Bartender in the beginning of Boondock Saints.

FYI, I can no longer picture him checking his radish patch without saying “Fuck! Ass!”.

  4. Fraggle Rock: Soon to be a major motion picture.

  5. tatsu, wasn’t the dog’s name Sam?

and antiherocool, WTF? are you serious? they’re gonna fucking ruin another childhood treasure like they did Underdog

  6. I loved this show as a wee kid. It was NBC Saturday morning cartoons after the Smurfs I think…

  7. I had a fever once and hallucinated that their were doozers in my room making loads of noise and they wouldn’t shut up. Loved the show and song too.

  8. I need to add my 2 cents… tatsu: the dog was named sprocket and doc didn’t grow radishes, the gorgs grew radishes which the fraggles snuck out (from a different opening to fraggle rock) to pick. The person in the radish patch would be junior gorg since he was in charge of the garden. Doc was only ever in his workshop.

I’ve been a fraggle fanatic since I was old enough to watch the show. Good times.
