  1. ONLY ONE OF THEM BREEDS REDNECKS

  2. Only one breeds usable photographs demonstrating the point trying to be made.

  3. Hiselin-

One of them bred your nation and the right to say nonsense at will. Without an armed populous, the revolutionary war would have been quite implausible. Perhaps that’s why the second amendment was dreamed up by those silly rednecks.

  4. @ Von Hiselin,

Q: Is there really any difference between trailer trash rednecks and ghetto trash street thugs?

A: Only the in the fine details, trash is trash.

Oh, and I love your implication that law abiding gun owner = redneck, very insightful

D.C., yes, but I don’t remember Alaska, Louisiana, Wyoming, or most of the other states on the top of that list ever being known for their huge thug culture…

  6. …can’t they breed with each other?

  7. Im pretty sure we’ve got more thug culture here in Louisiana than those other two you mentioned. Some fellow tried to rob me on my back porch with an airsoft gun…pretty gangsta

  8. @Gus_Johnson

The Second Amendment doesn’t mean what you think it means.

  9. Wow somebody likes Fark.com
That was a good gun thread

    Care to elaborate?

I love words. Really. Etymology is intriguing. Words change meaning over time, thus is the nature of communication. A recently popular act is to get hung up on the word militia. In 1777, the meaning of “militia” was “the whole body of men declared by law amenable to military service, without enlistment, whether armed and drilled or not.” (www.etymonline.com/index.php?search=militia&searchmode=none)

You can spin it all you want. It says what it says.

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

If a time comes where your government cannot maintain your security, you will have to provide for yourself.

Police usually arrive after the law has been broken. If your family is at risk, are you comfortable with having the phone and a baseball bat providing your security?

Those 2 things should logically silence anti-firearm arguments.

The constitution has been stepped on by almost every administration, yet it still survives. We the people will always look to it as a code of law. Read it.

  11. Wow. Not everyone who owns guns is a redneck. I myself own quite an arsenal of weapons, including many guns.

  12. @ Billy Manic:

    Lets hope that they don’t!

  13. I actually just bought another gun tonight :)

  14. @Abide. That was fantastic…wtg.

  15. why thank you. It was quite an enjoyable night.

  16. Clearly you all have never lived in Oakland, California.

  17. WAIT….

Only ONE of them should be allowed to BREED!
