And if you look towards the middle sedimentary layer, you can distinctly see the period in history, almost frozen in time, when America began to like European automobiles. This marked a significant downfall in aesthetics until we get to the more recent eras in the top sediments and see the Japanese sportscar industry beginning to make itself apparent. this is awesome because you can see how the cars evolve from one species to the next.

it’s so very humbling to see the process evolution in action.

and to think it all sat there for hundreds of millions of years just waiting on us to uncover it and the secrets to how modern vehicles developed over time through a blind process
