This was the record included on the Voyager probes as a sort of “Hello” to any aliens that might find it.
The second picture is the case that shows where earth is (upper right corner is our sun with distances to other stars) and how to mathematically build a record player to play the thing.
Ain’t that some shit. We’d feel pretty damn stupid if hostile aliens found it and made Earth asplode.
