Dammit they’re not bears. They’re marsupials and not even remotely related to bears. They’re closer relatives of kangaroos and the rest of the marsupials we have here (echidnas, platypus, etc)

They’re actually commonly known as koalas,

man i hate these things. Always want to piss on you, and the males just want to bite your friggen fingers off. not fun to work with. also yeh i’ve only heard americans call them koala bears
