Umm how about it looks like a giant blob? Or even Rosie O’Donnell?
Dammit, pedantic beat me to the obligatory Rosie comment.
Why is this guy pointing and looking in different directions? And does he think that the guy on the phone can see what he’s pointing at?
I remember seeing this movie as a kid, and laughing uncontrollably at the ridiculous theme music. If I remember correctly, it’s almost a jingle…not at all what you would expect for something that’s supposed to be a horror movie.
I really hate the 1988 remake of the blob, but unfortunately I only saw the very end of the original.
You know, “the blob” is a euphemism for menstrual periods.

What I’ve never understood was how The Blob was supposed to represent Communism…. It’s a fucking blob of goo that absorbs, must be the missing chapter of the Communist Manifesto.
