  1. The reason for this being posted is…??

  2. The glass is completely full. It is roughly half full of water and half full of air.

  3. Its a glass of water, thats all.

  4. not sure… it could be vodka, or something like that!

  5. The glass is twice as large as it needs to be.

  6. I think that if you’re drinking from it, it’s half empty; and if you’re filling it up with water, then it’s half full.

  7. “The glass is a lie.”

    Win.

I think that if you’re drinking from it, it’s half empty; and if you’re filling it up with water, then it’s half full.

Thats what i say and peopl get mad at me.

  9. Actually, the glass is indeed below 50% capacity. Take note of the “punt” of the glass, the convex glass area bounding up from the bottom of the glass (as seen in beer bottles), and the narrowed bottom of the glass shape itself.

Meaning the less space there is, the less water there is to fill that space. So for it to be half full, it would have to have water visibly beyond 50%.

  10. half full of liquid + half full of air = full.
not like there’s a damn vacuum in that thing.
