A (2005) look at the worlds gas/petrol prices per US Gallon. Cheapest is Venezuela at $0.17/gallon. US is ~$2.70/gallon, UK is $6.65/gallon.

It is true Sansbutt, our government does tax us to hell, and that’s basicly why we have such high fuel prices. I mean, the British have a fucking Oil field off it’s north shore which provides more than enough petrol for all of us. We’re currently paying £1.30 a litre (that’s $2.57 in your puwny do-wars). I can’t believe I agree with mAgnUS…well, at least his first comment since I’m not going to tempt fate. But yeah, we pay less per gallon, but we use so much more that it evens out. I had a student from Denmark tell me (this was about 9 or 10 years ago) that if he wanted to drive somewhere, he’d borrow a friend’s car and put a few gallons in it, and it would get him to the other end of his country. Granted, it seems to fly in the face of supply and demand, but the high price makes up for the lack of use; it’s one more reason why oil companies are evil.
What I want to know is, how much do they pay in Oslo for a grande cappuccino at Starbucks? If it’s $10 or more, then I’ll feed bad.
