“The Seven Samurai” is one of the best movies of all times. Through my jap wife doesn’t really care for it (I guess it’s a guy thing).

I watched it, the thing is, it’s not really THAT great, still, has a special charm that will make me sit through 3 hours.

My cousin and his Japanese wife got this for me as a Christmas present. Gotta say at first glance I was disappointed, since my brother got this DS game cartridge thing that would let him DL any game online and upload it so he could play it. After letting it sit on my shelf for a month, I decided to watch it before their very near upcoming visit, so I could toss out a comment like, “Oh, btw I really enjoyed your gift.” It was surprisingly good, I ended up really enjoying it. Some of the acting made me laugh quite a bit at it’s quality, but most of it was very interesting.
