The digital one would need some sort of voltage, probly 12 or 24VDC, but other than that you would just need the contacts from the thermostat to tell your equipment to turn on and off, just like the old ones. Quick and simple.

I do Fire Alarm systems, so I do low voltage al the time, just havent gotten into controls/hvac yet</description>

@tiki - It&#039;s actually really easy to hook one up. You just pick one up at the hardware store, pull the old one off the wall, and plug any wires into the new one. Piece of cake!</description>
