@mgear – Is it me, or does that finger look hideously deformed? Also, I’ve never seen one in Celsius, way cool!

@tiki – It’s actually really easy to hook one up. You just pick one up at the hardware store, pull the old one off the wall, and plug any wires into the new one. Piece of cake!

ahahaha, I only wish. you have to get certain ones, kinda like lining up a processor with a motherboard

No, my finger’s not deformed, the camera was kinda in my palm when I took the shot (by accident actually)

I work for Honeywell!

The digital one would need some sort of voltage, probly 12 or 24VDC, but other than that you would just need the contacts from the thermostat to tell your equipment to turn on and off, just like the old ones. Quick and simple.

I do Fire Alarm systems, so I do low voltage al the time, just havent gotten into controls/hvac yet

So the A/C guy and the guy from HomeDepot were full of shti when they said they needed to know the exact make and model of my current system in order to do a selection?
