Brian Blessing FTW!
1980′s Flash Gordon with Sam Jones is a monstrously good movie if you like cheese factor. I was totally obsessed with the movie as a kid.
The new SciFi channel series of the same name, which I hope has been cancelled, was unwatchable.

Ah, I never watched Flash Gordon, but I did read a Mad Magazine TV special which featured “Hawkmen.” It was odd and confusing. Why the heck does my comic book feature these silly creatures?
