So I saw a trailer for Gears of War 2, and I asked a friend if Gears of War 1 was the same way. He said yes, and I removed it from my GameFly queue. I’ve had enough of games that look like shit, and play like shit, no matter what their mythology. If the guy attacking me has the same color palate at the floor plating, then I have no desire to play it.

Gears of War is pretty fun.

At first I thought obvious troll to provoke flame-war.
Then I realized you were serious.
Then I thought about how I love the first game.
Then I thought how low my standards are.
Then I didn’t care.
I’ve never been interested in it as it’s aimed at Xbox owners.
If it’s meant to be played with a pad then using a mouse will make it laughably easy.
