Nothing hotter than a chick speaking French. I heard a French chick talking yesterday and without even gawping at her rack I got a semi.

Nobody remembers that all of this has happened before: immigration in the early 19th century happened in a proportion to the non-immigrant population of the U.S. that resembles immigration now. In the 19th century, immigrants clustered in communities where they kept speaking German or Gaelic, and often the first generation to come to this country at that time never learned English, either.

Ignorant white people made a big fuss about immigration back then, too, but I don't see anybody complaining about the Irish or the Germans anymore...

Actually when i am in a different country i tend to not speak at all for fear of looking like some asshole tourist. Of course i learn a few phrases of common courtesy and try to observe local customs. To be fair a lot of countries have signs in english and whatever the native tounge is, so i could see why some americans expect the natives to know english.

People just need to speak "common". Or maybe have more language filters in place on their GUI.
