Yes, I would also greatly appreciate it if you could name everyone from the team, seeing as how all I did was drive it. Yeah, I just realized what he meant by kicking it across the lake, and by “optics system.” I only briefly looked at it earlier.

Alright, the city of Helena, MT holds an annual Cardboard Regatta in Spring Meadow Lake. The Regatta is a fund raiser for a non-profit organization that helps people with disabilities, and in order to generate competitive interest local stores and restaurants donate gift certificates as prizes. The only real rule is that a boat must be made entirely of duct-tape and cardboard (various other materials can be used but only in small amounts). The boats are first judged on their originality which is then followed by the races. We basically won every prize they could throw at us, including victory over our competitors and the shocked looks carved into their faces. All-in-all, with a cardboard Star Destroyer, that I kicked across a lake, with a total cost of roughly $20 to build, we landed ourselves nearly $400 in various gift certificates.

tl;dr ~ we’re five nerds from Montana that won $400 in gift certificates by entering a Star Destroyer in a cardboard boat race.
