And the Borg were a rip-off of The Cybermen from Doctor Who (not the first time ST has ripped something off).

That’s a total swipe, though — they just retouched the image. I knew PR/marketing departments at movie studios were lazy, but that’s pretty unforgivable. Where’s the story behind it/sauce on original pic?
