THHGttG has had multiple forms. Radio series, books, TV series, Infocom text adventure computer game, movie... Every time it changed media, the plotline changed. You can't really compare the movie to the books because Douglas Adams insisted on differences (he wrote the screenplay for the movie, ya know). So stop your BAWWWWWWWing and enjoy the damn movie. Fun fact: the robot standing in line in the Vogon office? That was the TV series version of Marvin. I shit you not. Let me set you fellas straight.

Mos Def as Ford made me nervous at first, but he really pulled it off pretty well. The books are priceless to me- they're how I met my husband.
